Professional Development

Do you want to expand access and build capacity? Inclusive Arts Vermont can help. We offer custom consulting and training for individuals and organizations. Our focus is on the arts, education, and disability access. We design interactive workshops that center access. Our facilitation approach values the knowledge and lived experience of all participants. We have worked with arts nonprofits, state agencies, students, educators, and teaching artists.

“Seeing by example just how it’s done was valuable: how to invite participation, offer a gentle nudge along the way, draw out a ‘quiet’ student, and provide safety in which to speak/do something new, the uses of deep listening.”

Past Participant

Inclusive Arts Vermont’s collaborative approach has not only helped train our staff to gain knowledge and skills around inclusive practices, but has also made it possible for us to engage our partners and constituents, such as teaching artists, in the process.”

Troy Hickman, Vermont Arts Council
