Professional Development

Partnering with other organizations, we offer numerous trainings each year for teaching artists and other educators who want to create inclusive classrooms for all types of learners. These opportunities emphasize adaptations, arts integration, and Universal Design for Learning.

“Seeing by example just how it’s done was valuable: how to invite participation, offer a gentle nudge along the way, draw out a ‘quiet’ student, and provide safety in which to speak/do something new, the uses of deep listening.”

Past Participant

Inclusive Arts Vermont’s collaborative approach has not only helped train our staff to gain knowledge and skills around inclusive practices, but has also made it possible for us to engage our partners and constituents, such as teaching artists, in the process.”

We offer a variety of workshops catered to specific audience needs. If you don’t see something here that you’re looking for, please reach out – we would be happy to design a personalized workshop for you or your staff.
